Please pray for our ministry partners in Haiti. David Larson, executive director of New Life For Haiti, wrote sharing that their School of Hope was not able to meet recently “due to rising concerns of violence and unrest throughout the country.” The children weren’t in immediate danger, but this was a precaution because of the instability there in Haiti at this time.

David also writes, “There have been increasing numbers of demonstrations in protest of Prime Minister Ariel Henry, even in areas which have seen relative peace compared to Port-au-Prince. More demonstrations calling for the prime minister to resign are expected as they near an anniversary of the appointment of an election committee on February 7th. There has been no progress toward holding an election in several years.”

For over a decade, Crossroads has been supporting New Life For Haiti. We’ve taken part in several projects and multiple trips as well as sponsoring many children in their school. Pray for God’s favor and protection for the ministry workers as well as peace for the nation.
